Office Hours 

The Front Office is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week. For assistance, call the office at 

(340) 643-4939 or stop by and we will do our best to assist you. 

Check-In/Check-Out Instructions 

Visit the Front Office to check in and sign the registration card. We will charge your credit card and send you the invoice by email. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. For express check out, no need to stop by the office, just lock the door when you leave.

Late Check-outs

Late check-outs are available upon request. There will be an addition fee of $50 per hour added to your stay.

Currency 

U.S. Dollar is used in the United States Virgin Islands. 

Credit Cards Accepted 

We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. 

Mail and Messages 

Mail and messages can be received at the hotel.  For more information, inquire at the Front Office during office hours. 

Lost and Found 

For articles lost or found, please contact or stop by the Front Office (340) 643-4939. 

Safe Deposit Boxes 

Safe deposit boxes are not available on the property. Please do not leave money or valuables in your room. Please lock your door when you leave your unit. The Frederiksted Hotel is not responsible for the loss of any lost or stolen valuables. 

Reservations 

Please call (340) 643-4939/(340)772-0500 to speak to the staff at the Front Office for assistance. Reservations can also be made on our website at www.thefrederikstedhotel.com 

Group Accommodations 

For personal assistance with group accommodations, please contact our Front Office. 

Smoking Policy 

Smoking is NOT allowed in the rooms. Candles and incense are also prohibited. A $250 cleaning fee will be added to your bill for violations. 

ATM/Bank 

The nearest bank/atm is located two blocks away in town towards the pier. Check with the Front Office for directions. 

Air Conditioning, Water & Electricity Conservation 

Please help our community conserve resources by turning off lights and water when not in use. The standard is to keep air conditioners set at 75° Fahrenheit/23.9° Celsius when not in the room. 

Balcony 

No hanging of towels, clothes, etc. on balcony or railings. Dive equipment can be placed on patio chairs. 

Television 

All rooms are equipped with smart TVs that can be used with your personal streaming/subscription plans (i.e., Hulu, Netflix, Prime video, Paramount+, etc.) 

WIFI 

WIFI is available throughout our property. The password is made available at check-in or inquire at the Front Office. 

Coffee 

A coffee pot is available in each room. Complimentary coffee supplies are available for you.  

Microwave 

A microwave is available in each room for your convenience.  

Toilets 

Do not flush any items other than toilet paper in toilets. 

Playpen (Pack n Play) 

A Pack-n-Play is available upon request. Supplies are limited and reserved on a first come first serve basis. There is a $15 charge per night. 

Pest Control Treatment 

The pests are common all over the island. We treat all rooms for pests but if you see any, please notify the Front Office so we can treat again while you are out.  Please allow access for this treatment.  

Pet Policy 

The Frederiksted Hotel prohibits pets in the hotel rooms. 

Housekeeping 

Housekeeping service is available upon request. Call our Front Office to schedule room make up service. Extra linens (bath towels, beach towels or blankets) can also be exchanged at the Front Desk. 

Laundry Facility 

Washing machines and dryers are available for your use on the 2nd floor. The machines require quarters to operate and you can obtain at the Front Office. Tide pods are available for $1 each. 

Parking 

Free street parking is available on a first come basis. The Frederiksted Hotel is not responsible for items left in vehicles. 

Grilling 

A grill is available on the second-floor terrace. See the Front Desk for instructions. 

Restaurant 

Esterlyn’s Daily Breakfast is open in the courtyard (excluding holidays) 8am until 11am. Cash Only.

Emergencies 

In the event of a medical or another serious emergency, please dial 911. Guests may also call the Front Office at (340) 643-4939 for assistance. After hours contact security at (340) 725-5696. 

Safety Tips 

Your safety and the security of your personal property are of the utmost concern to those of us who welcome you as our guest. We urge you to take advantage of the following suggestions. 

DO NOT LEAVE MONEY OR VALUABLES IN YOUR ROOM. LOCK YOUR DOORS. 

The Hotel and management are not responsible for lost or stolen items. 

Door Locks 

Keep your lock passcode private. Always lock your door upon entering and leaving. In the event of a lockout, please contact the front office or security for assistance. Damage caused to the doors or windows will be charged to your account. 

Admittance 

Do not admit anyone to your room without first establishing their identity. If there is any doubt about the person’s identity, please contact the Front Office at (340) 643-4939 for assistance. After hours contact security at (340) 725-5696. 

Fire 

Please familiarize yourself with the location of all exits. In the unlikely event of a fire, please move quickly but calmly to the nearest and safest exit. Report fire or smoke to the Front Office and call 911. 

Fire Safety Tips 

We hope that these procedures will contribute to your comfort and well-being during your stay at The Frederiksted Hotel. 

All buildings can have fires. Plan what to do when you check in. You will not have time to plan during a fire. 

• First, find exits nearest your room. 
• Then, count the doors between your room and exits so you will have a reference point if it is smoky. 
• When you hear an alarm, act, do not investigate. 
• If fire is in your room, get out and close the door. Once out, report the fire. 
• If fire is not in your room, leave if you can. First, feel your door. If it is cool, open it slowly and go to the nearest exit. Crawl in smoke. Fresh air will be at floor level.  
• If your room door is hot, do not open it. Your room may be the safest place to be. 
• Seal all cracks with wet towels. Shut off fans and air conditioners. Signal at your window. Call the Fire Department and wait to be rescued. 

Personal Safety Tips 

• Take only what you can carry when touring and only necessary cash. 
• We encourage you not to leave valuables in your car or trunk. Do not believe a locked car door or trunk will make your valuables safe. 
• Always find out who is at your room door if someone knocks. Verify their identity before opening your door to strangers.  
• We encourage you to keep your door always locked.
